Cooking for yourself for the first time can feel overwhelming, especially when time, money and motivation are in short supply. This flexible, online course is designed to help you gain confidence in the kitchen with simple, tasty and nutritious recipes you’ll actually want to cook.

You can start the course any time and complete it at your own pace. Each week you'll learn a new recipe and complete a short feedback form on how you found it. All recipes can be adapted to suit dietary needs, and alternative options are provided where needed.

Example dishes from course 1 include chocolate brownies, homemade pizza, salmon with sweet potato fries, Thai green curry and home-made nachos. Example dishes from course 2 include chocolate fridge cake, salmon risotto, stuffed peppers, beef casserole and orange sponge cake.

By the end of the course, you’ll have a go-to repertoire of meals, and the confidence to cook for friends and family!
